The method involves receiving a task, broadcasting the task to several job processing nodes, establishing a queue of jobs by each job processing node in response to the task, selecting at least one job for the access mechanism(s) by at least one job processing node, instructing the access mechanism to carry out each selected job and synchronizing the job queues.
