PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high temperature superconducting joint having a shunt resistor in which stabilized operation of a superconducting circuit employing a ramp edge joint can be realized. SOLUTION: A conductive intermediate layer 3 is provided between the ramp ride-over part 5 of an upper electrode 4 and a lower electrode 2 constituting a ramp edge joint employing an oxide superconductor.
