<p>A cabriolet type vehicle with improved roof handling and storage has rigid roof panels and a rear windscreen selectively slid rearwards between guides in the side frames of the vehicle body and stored in a stacked array in the rear luggage compartment of the vehicle. The rear luggage cover is moved into a position which enables the stacking process, with the rear windscreen stored first, followed by the roof sections in sequence. The stack is moved as one entity into a storage position, leaving the remainder of the luggage space available for storing other items. The roof and rear windscreen sections are moved by servo motors.</p> |
