<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance support system, method and program for the object of maintenance that enable failure analysis even without knowledge or experience so that users are easily and clearly guided on the details of failures, recovery work and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The USB interface 24 of a USB memory device 21 is connected to the USB interface 14 of a computer device 11 which is the object of maintenance, and log information for a computer crisis 11 is obtained and recorded in the USB memory device 21. Next, the USB interface 24 of the USB memory device 21 is connected to the USB interface 35 of a cellphone 31 and the log information in the USB memory device 21 is sent to the maintenance support server 61 via the cellphone 31.
