<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent slip of a pulley and a belt caused by improper speed change for preventing a vehicle from returning to the lowest position when stopping the vehicle to improve durability of the belt. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for the vehicle is provided with the belt-type continuously variable transmission 5 provided with a pulley rotational speed sensor 26 for detecting primary pulley rotational speed N1 and a pulley rotational speed sensor 27 for detecting secondary pulley rotational speed to control primary pulley pressure p1 and secondary pulley pressure p2 so that actual speed change ratio i agrees with target speed change ratio I computed based on at least pulley rotational speed N1 and pulley rotational speed N2. This controller computes the actual speed change ratio i based on the pulley rotational speed N1 and the pulley rotational speed N2 in a hydraulic control unit 100 for speed change control and fixes each pulley pressure p1, p2 to pulley pressure p1 (old), p2 (old) when determining improper speed change in accordance with the determination that there is possibility of improper speed change for preventing the vehicle from returning to the lowest position when stopping the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
