<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate supply of a drastic inrush current into a driving voltage generating means (a DC-DC converter) which supplies a driving voltage to a light emitting panel along with changes in a dimmer setting of the light emitting panel. <P>SOLUTION: A constant current supplied to a monitor element Ex is controlled based on a dimmer setting value, and an output voltage VA of a DC-DC converter 4 is controlled based on a currently generating forward voltage Vf and supplied as a driving voltage VA of a light emitting panel. A control signal Vda changed based on resetting of the dimmer value slowly changes over a prescribed period by a control signal conversion means 5 constituting a time constant circuit and controls the constant current supplied to the monitor element Ex. In particular, when the dimmer value is changed so as to increase the luminance of the light emitting panel, the system can alleviate supply of an inrush current from a battery to the DC-DC converter 4 which supplies the driving voltage VA to the light emitting panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
