PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expected purification performance, even when starting an engine at the low temperature, by surely preheating a catalyst 3, while minimizing an energy loss, in a vehicle for reducing a behavior load of an occupant. SOLUTION: By detecting that the vehicle driving occupant approaches the vehicle up to a predetermined distance, the time of detecting the approach of the occupant is stored in an occupant behavior pattern storage means.
