PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engaging fitting for placing skeleton concrete, which facilitates embedding and mounting thereof in the skeleton concrete, and is excellent in cost efficiency. SOLUTION: The engaging fitting A for placing the skeleton concrete is set up by arranging an engagement operating portion 2 which is bent into a shape such that a shackle C can be hooked thereon, in a box body 1 having a front opening, in a manner preventing the engagement operating portion 2 from protruding from an opening edge of the box body 1, and extending shaft portions 3 to be anchored to the skeleton concrete, from the engagement operating portion 2, in a manner penetrating mutually opposed side surfaces of the box body 1. Then the engaging fitting A is nailed to an inner surface of a form so as to bring the opening edge of the box body 1 into intimate contact with the same, and the skeleton concrete E is poured, to thereby mount the engaging fitting A in the skeleton concrete E.
