PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method for an overhang floor slab for facilitating positioning without using a guide for fixation and reducing amount of use of a reinforcing material. SOLUTION: In this reinforcing method for orienting and installing a fiber reinforced resin-made plate 6 in the direction of width of the overhang floor slab made of concrete, channels 5 in which the fiber reinforced resin-made plate 6 can be buried are cut at a predetermined interval on an upper face of the floor slab made of concrete, the fiber reinforced resin-made plate 6 is fixed in the channel 5 by using adhesive, and resin mortar 7 is applied up to height of the upper face of the floor slab on the fiber reinforced resin-made plate 6.
