<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a motor pump to enhance the ease of mounting the pump in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A motor is so constructed that: coils 14 are annularly disposed in a stator core 13 having multiple lug-like magnetic poles alternately extended from either end to the opposite end, and a rotor 16 disposed inside the stator core 13 is rotated by energizing the coils 14. The pump is driven using this motor. Therefore, a small motor pump can be provided without a coil end, and the mountability in a vehicle can be enhanced. When such a motor pump discharges a cooling medium, a motor can be efficiently cooled. Further, when the stator core is molded with resin, the stator core can be constructed of a dust core, and the stator core can function as a partition wall separating a pump section and a motor section from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
