<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar equipment for making zero-point calibration of the radar bearing easier. <P>SOLUTION: In the radar equipment, a phase of subcarrier is controlled by a transmit phase shifter 22-k. This subcarrier is modulated by a second modulator 23-k and then by a first modulator 24-k. A transmitter signal is leaked into a receiver through a directional coupler 40-k. The phase of this leaked transmitter signal is controlled by a first receiving phase shifter 35-k. The radar equipment has a transmission controller 50, which equally synchronizes each transmit phase of the respective transmitter signal supplied to each antenna element during calibration of the radar equipment to define the phase shift amount of the transmit phase shifter as reference transmission phase shift amount. It also has receiving phase controller 60, which equally synchronizes each receive phase of the transmitter signal leaked into each receiver through each directional coupler of the transmitter signal as each receiving signal for each antenna element during calibration of the radar equipment to define phase shift amount of the first receive phase shifter as the reference receiving phase shift amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
