The invention relates to a device for stoving an enamel layer on a wire (3). Said device comprises a passage duct (2) having a stoving zone (8) for the wire (3), a circulation air blower (11) for generating a circulating air current (7) being led through the passage duct (2) and circulated and an exhaust air blower (13) for exhausting an exhaust air current (14) from the circulating air current (7). A speed control (15) of the circulation air blower (11) or the exhaust air blower (13) is activated depending on an adjustable target value of the temperature in the stoving zone (8). The invention also relates to a method for controlling the temperature in a stoving zone (8) of a wire passage duct (2) of an enameling stove (1), a circulating air current (7) being led through the wire passage duct (2), which air current is circulated while deriving an exhaust air current (14) thereof. The pressure of the circulating air current (7) or the intake pressure of the exhaust air current (14) is controlled depending on an adjustable target value of the temperature in the stoving zone (8). |
