PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate cleaning and other operation to a document conveyance path and a reading part by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The automatic document reader is constituted so that functional units 211B, 211C are opened in response to an opening operation to a part 211A of a plurality of functional units 211A, 211B, 211C, and all the document conveyance paths are more easily opened by a few operations by linking the plurality of functional units 211A, 211B, 211C via an appropriate link member 211.
