PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately store memorandums in various scenes by links of a plurality of applications. SOLUTION: A memorandum storage device which stores the memorandums includes a memorandum storage DB 121A. The memorandum storage DB 121A stores characters converted by respective character conversion means 110, 111 for converting input characters into a text file and respective character extraction conversion means 113, 115, 117 and 119 for: converting character information extracted from sound collected and recorded by a microphone 107 into a text file; receiving and recording a still image or a moving image received or picked up by a television 108 or a camera 109 and converting character information extracted from the recorded still image or moving image into a text file; and receiving the still image of bar codes picked up by the camera and converting character information extracted from the received still image of bar codes into a text file, together with year, month, date, and time stored as memorandum content. The memorandum storage device also includes a memorandum storage control part 120A which causes the memorandum storage DB to store the characters converted when character input, recording, camera recording, television recording, and bar code imaging are selected as the memorandum content when there is a memorandum storage request.
