Provided are a steam generator comprising: a heating chamber in which a heating space is formed and having an upper part wherein a steam outlet, through which steam is discharged, is formed and a lower part wherein a residual water outlet, through which the water for steam is discharged, is formed; a heater installed in the heating chamber so as to supply heat to the heating space; and a discharge pipe connected to the residual water outlet and selectively discharging the water for steam remained in the heating space to the outside, and therein: one end of the discharge pipe is connected to the residual water outlet; and the other end of discharge pipe is arranged in the place lower than the residual water outlet; and a part of the discharge pipe can be arranged in the place higher than the residual water outlet, and a cooker including the same steam generator. |
