The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing a volatile organic compound, and to a method for removing volatile organic compound using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus for removing a volatile organic compound, which maximally maintains an oxidative reaction active point of a photocatalyst, and can effectively remove a volatile organic compound with excellent adhesion force of a carbon filter, and to a method for removing a volatile organic compound using the same. The carbon filter coated with the photocatalyst and a discharging plate having a positive electrode are integrally formed.
