The present invention relates to a rotating signboard to which a twisted cable prevention system is applied. The present invention comprises: a fixing plate which has a penetrating hole which penetrates vertically the fixing plate at the center of the inner circumference; an axis of rotation which has an end portion formed vertically on one side so that an electrical cable is placed, is combined with and installed in the penetrating hole of the fixing plate through a bearing so that the axis of rotation is capable of rotating and has a combining hole in the upper portion and a fastening hole in the lower portion; a driving unit which is placed above the fixing plate with a gap from the fixing plate on a bracket and composed of a driving motor which comprises a motor axis which is inserted into and combined with the combining hole of the axis of rotation; a connecting and installing unit which is installed by being put on the outer circumference of the axis of rotation so that the connecting and installing unit is connected to one end of the electrical cable placed along the end portion of the axis of rotation; a reverse rotation prevention means which prevents the axis of rotation from rotating in the reverse direction by comprising reverse rotation prevention gears which are combined with the axis of rotation and a reverse rotation prevention fixture which is combined tightly with the blade of the reverse rotation prevention gears by means of elastic force; a power connection control unit which comprises a rotationally connecting plate which is combined tightly with the connecting and installing unit by means of elastic force and a control means which separates the rotationally connecting plate from the connecting and installing unit; and the signboard which is combined with the lower end of the axis of rotation so that the signboard rotates and electrically connected to the other end of the electrical cable placed along the end portion of the axis of rotation. The present invention prevents the electrical cable from being twisted when the signboard rotates and also prevents reverse rotation due to the wind.
