The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for evaluating durability of an insoluble electrode. According to the present invention, a portion of the insoluble electrode for evaluating durability is inserted in an electrolyte in the inside of an electrolytic cell. A fixed amount of the electrolyte in an electrolyte tank is transmitted to the inside of the electrolytic cell through an electrolyte supply line unit in order to check a change in a voltage through a fixed current density by using an electrode durability estimation unit which is coupled to a direct current power supply unit of the insoluble electrode for evaluating durability. Therefore, the durability of an insoluble electrode generating oxygen and hypochlorite is estimated by checking the durability of the insoluble electrode for evaluating durability. As such, the durability of the insoluble electrode is secured, thereby making a stable electrolysis process possible. |
