Provided by an embodiment of the present invention is a tundish stopper opening and closing apparatus, which is improved to minimize shaking generated when moving a tundish stopper. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the tundish stopper opening and closing apparatus comprises: the tundish stopper arranged in a direction of a central line of a molten steel outlet in order to open and close the molten steel outlet of the tundish; an auxiliary elevating unit which elevates the tundish stopper through a medium of rotatory power by being connected with one side of the tundish stopper; and a main elevating unit which elevates the auxiliary elevating unit by being provided to one side of the tundish.
