The present invention relates to a system for recovering a small cell access point (AP) and an operating method thereof, and to a technology for recovering a normal operation state from a failure state when failure occurs in a small cell AP (Home eNode B (HeNB)). According to the present invention, by forming a recovery system for an HeNB equipped with a recovery processor as a dedicated process for recovering the HeNB, failure of the HeNB is determined and a recovery operation is performed in a remote place by an HeNB management system, a core network server, or a dedicated management server even if a main CPU of the HeNB is an inoperable state. Moreover, measurement and analysis equipment determines the failure and recovers functions through connection with the recovery processor of the HeNB. The system comprises a recovery processor, readable/writable non-volatile memory, and a universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART). |
