PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like cosmetic having good touch feeling during application and good preparation stability using a polyacrylic acid-based water-absorbent resin having excellent water-absorbing properties.SOLUTION: There is easily provided a gel-like cosmetic having refreshing touch feeling and good preparation stability by using a polyacrylic acid-based water-absorbent resin having specific water-absorbing ability instead of a water-soluble polymer having thickening effect which is generally used for a gel-like cosmetic, that is, a gel-like cosmetic comprising a polyacrylic acid-based water-absorbent polymer, wherein the polyacrylic acid-based water-absorbent polymer has an average particle diameter of 1 to 30 μm and a water absorption ratio of 5 to 50 g/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
