The present invention relates to a medium processing device including a cassette unit to accumulate a medium. The cassette unit comprises: one or more cassettes to accommodate the medium in the inner side; a cassette shutter to open and close a transfer path of the medium by being placed on the cassettes; a cassette shutter driving unit to drive the cassette shutter by being placed to be attached and detached to the cassette; a medium sensing unit to sense whether the medium remains by discharging and sensing an electromagnetic wave by being placed on the cassette shutter driving unit; and a prism unit which is placed on the cassette, is separately arranged with the medium sensing unit, and makes the electromagnetic wave discharged from the medium sensing unit to be return to the medium sensing unit. |
