PURPOSE: A smart SD card controller and a controlling method thereof are provided to implement various functions inside a chip and to increase efficiency of a product. CONSTITUTION: An embedded processor controls a mass smart SD card controller chip for supporting a mobile financial transaction. A NAND flash memory controller sets a storage area of a flash memory through FTL software. The smart card controller is connected to a host system through the SD card controller. The smart card controller supplies interface with an external RFID and an NFC. The smart card controller performs mobile banking and mobile payment.
