The present invention relates to a drainage apparatus for a bridge manufactured using a cover plate with a drainage wing and an installation method thereof which effectively allow rainwater or the like entering a cover plate (a grating) of a drainage apparatus for a bridge to flow into the drainage apparatus. The drainage apparatus for a bridge manufactured using a cover plate comprises a cover plate horizontally or vertically installed. A drainage wing is formed on an inner surface of a frame of a drainage guide space (S) formed between grating ribs installed on the inner surface of the frame on the cover plate in an L-shaped bent plate form. The drainage wing comprises: a vertical plate coming in contact with the inner surface (A1) of the frame and having an extension length (L) corresponding to an extension length of the inner surface of the frame, wherein an upper surface thereof coincides with an upper surface of the frame; and a guide inclination plate which is an inclined plate extended from an upper end of the vertical plate and extended downwards below the drainage guide space (S).
