<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost of assembly for fixing a light source to a heat dissipation element, and also prevent the solid light emtting element or collimator lense from being damaged due to heat generated in manufacturing of the light source element. <P>SOLUTION: The light source element includes a solid light emitting element, a case with a light emitting part for storing the solid light emitting element and taking out to the outside light emitted from the solid light emitting element, a collimator lens for nearly parallelizing light emitted from the solid light emitting element, and a rtainer part retaining the collimator lens.
