PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove deposits from a throttle valve.SOLUTION: A throttle device 10 includes a throttle body 30 provided in an intake system for an engine. It has a throttle valve 33 provided in an intake passage 31 of the throttle body 30 and adapted to be turned in such an opening direction as to open the intake passage 31 and in such a closing direction as to close the intake passage 31, and moving members 56, 58 stored in storage chambers 55, 57 formed inside the throttle valve 33 in a movable manner, respectively. By turning the throttle valve 33 in the opening direction and in the closing direction, the moving members 56, 58 are reciprocated to remove deposits X from the throttle valve 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
