PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of γ-iron oxide at a low production cost by a simple production process.SOLUTION: A production method of γ-iron oxide includes a mixing step for preparing a mixed solution by mixing an iron compound solution dissolving an iron compound and an alkali solution, an ultrasonic irradiation step for irradiating the mixed solution with an ultrasonic, a filtration step for filtering particles generated in the mixed solution by the ultrasonic irradiation, and a burning step for burning the particles obtained by filtration. In the ultrasonic irradiation step, an ultrasonic of a frequency of 100 kHz or less is radiated. The iron compound solution is an aqueous solution dissolving at least one of iron nitrate, iron chloride, and iron sulfate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
