PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display reduced in thickness, weight and size.SOLUTION: A display 1 comprises: a first substrate 11 and a second substrate 12 that are arranged opposite to each other; a liquid crystal layer 10 that is arranged between the first substrate 11 and the second substrate 12; and a luminous body 18 that projects light to the first substrate 11. The first substrate 11 includes a light guide base material 20 and a polarizer 31 that is formed on the light guide base material 20.
