FIELD: technological processes.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for automatic arc welding of circular seams of rotary pipe joints. Welded pipes are assembled. Circular guide is installed on pipe and assembled pipes are welded by means of welding torch and welding tractor, moving with welding speed along circular guide. Welding of circular seams of pipes is performed using a driving roller device. Prior to welding method includes synchronisation of rotation speeds of driving roller device and movement speed of welding tractor along guide in opposite directions, while ensuring welding torch is in upper position relative to point of welding.EFFECT: higher quality of welded joint by reducing amount of added disturbances in welding during welding of pipes with deviation from straightness and when weld joint of pipe passes along driving roller devices.1 cl, 1 dwg
