The invention relates to the fastening of a glass pane (1) to a supporting structure, especially by using a fitting that is configured as a point holder which, at one end, a boring (20) provided in the glass pane (1) is entered by a first seat, and which fastens the glass pane to the first seat by means of a nut. In addition, the fitting, at the other end thereof, is fastened, at a distance from the glass plane, by means of a second seat to a supporting structure located on the building, whereby a glass-specific part is provided in the boring (20) of the glass pane (1) in the form of a fastening seat (2) which is joined to the glass pane (1) with positive engagement and form fit in such a manner that dynamic and static loads in the glass plane (1) are prevented, and the fastening of mounting-specific fittings or fitting parts with the first receiver can be indirectly effected via the fastening seat (2). |
