<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode driving circuit and an LED light source which allow an LED to be reliably turned off even when an input voltage lower than a predetermined value is supplied. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting diode driving circuit 1 for turning on an LED 2 comprises an inverter 20 which outputs power for driving the LED 2, and an inverter control circuit 30 for controlling operation of the inverter 20.
