PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select related word data effective in searching by solving the problem wherein candidate word data ineffective in re-searching as included in all the search document data may be selected as related word data. SOLUTION: A document search device that comprises a search document storage part for storing a search document data group and searches the search document storage part based on a keyword and related word data selected according to the keyword to output matching search document data, selects a plurality of searched data including the keyword by predetermined computation from a storage part for storing a searched data group including correlated candidate words according to the keyword, selects a predetermined number of candidate word data that are candidates for related word data from the selected searched data, acquires a statistical feature in the search document storage part for every selected candidate word data, and selects a predetermined number of candidate word data with a larger weight on each candidate word data as related word data by predetermined computation at least based on statistical features of the candidate word data in the selected searched data and the statistical features in the search document storage part.
