VISUAL COMMUNICATION SERVER, VISUAL COMMUNICATION PROGRAM, AND VISUAL COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of simply realizing a visual communication function at low cost by utilizing an existing telephone system and a computer system.

SOLUTION: A visual communication (VC) server 1 includes: a call connection management section 14 for detecting a line connection state of a telephone terminal to register it to a call connection information DB 11 on the basis of an event signal received from a telephone exchange 3; a client information DB 10 for storing a telephone number of the telephone terminal and an ID of a VC client in cross-reference with each other; an inter-client connection information DB 12 for storing a session state between the VC clients; and a client session control section 15 that particularizes a combination (pair) between concerned VC clients by referring to the client information DB 10 when a change in the line connection state between telephone terminals from the call connection information DB 11, and instructs on establishment or end of a session between the VC client in response to a detected session state by referring to the inter-client connection information DB 12.
