<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel which is easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The display panel 1 has a display region DR and a non-display region NDR arranged on the periphery of the display region DR. The display panel 1 has: a first substrate 2; a second substrate 3 placed opposite to the first substrate 2; a liquid crystal layer 4 disposed between the first substrate 2 and the second substrate 3; a sealing member 5 arranged on the non-display region NDR so as to surround the liquid crystal layer 4 and having a liquid crystal injection port 5a opened toward the liquid crystal layer 4; a plurality of color filter layers 19 with mutually different color tones, which are arranged on the first substrate 2 and are aligned in a plate face direction with a predetermined alignment in the display region DR, and which are laminated together so as to form a light shielding layer in a part or in the whole of a region of the non-display region NDR except the liquid crystal injection port 5a; and a metal light shielding layer 7 arranged on the liquid crystal injection port 5a of the non-display region NDR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
