PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content creating device capable of improving both amusement and operability and creating attractive personal contents. SOLUTION: The content creating device 5 receives a photographic image P and tag information T1 attached thereto from a digital camera 8 and acquires periphery information D to be added to the photographic image P from an information managing server 4 through the Internet 2 according to the tag information T1. Then the peripheral information D acquired from the information managing server 4 is displayed on a screen together with the photographic image P, the periphery information D selected on the screen is added to the photographic image P, and a slide show of them is made.
