PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus on-off control method, performing on-off control of an apparatus installed at a location where persons get in and get out. SOLUTION: The on-off control method of apparatus has a wireless tag detecting sensor and a transmitter, transmitting existence signal that indicates the existence of wireless tag and employee identification mark to an illumination apparatus control device at an illumination apparatus control part S. (a) The illumination apparatus control part S, from which "the existence signal and ID"is transmitted is detected by an existence signal detection means, (b) the position of the "IC tag" is deduced by the illumination apparatus control part which has detected the existence signal by a means deducing the existing position of the "IC tag", and the illumination apparatus is lighted by an on-off means of the illumination apparatus.
