PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish stable medium delivery behavior taking into consideration the influence of complicated conveying behavior of a medium, i.e., a stiffened delivery object. SOLUTION: The medium delivery device is provided with a stiffening part for curving the medium, i.e., the delivery object; a conveying part for conveying the medium at an angleϕformed with a horizontal direction; and a delivery part for storing the medium delivered from the stiffening part while stacking it. Further, the delivery part in the medium delivery device is arranged at a position or attitude that a contact angleθcontacted with a leading end of the medium becomes smaller than tan<SP>-1</SP>(1/μ) at an area left from the stiffening part in a horizontal direction by L0cosϕor more when length of the medium from the stiffening part to the leading end of the medium at the moment when the medium conveyed by the conveying part while curved by the stiffening part is started to be deflected in a gravity direction is made to L0 and when friction coefficient of the medium and the surface of the delivery part or the surface of the medium stacked on the delivery part and it is made to beμ.
