PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center fold booklet conveying device capable of positioning a center fold booklet with high accuracy by a considerably simple means without leaving any looseness in the center fold booklet, for example, without leaving any looseness in a sheet in contact with a loading surface side of a conveying means. SOLUTION: The center fold booklet conveying device having a center fold part consisting of a plurality of sheets comprises a conveying device for loading and conveying a center fold booklet, a detection means for detecting position information of the center fold booklet to be conveyed, and an abutting means for abutting and positioning the center fold part. Before the center fold part is abutted on the abutting means, position information on the center fold booklet is detected by the detection means, the movement of the conveying means is decelerated based on the position information, the center fold booklet is inertia-moved on the loading surface of the conveying means by the deceleration, and the center fold part is abutted on the abutting means.
