PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a minute mold which can produce a minute structure such as a micro lens array accurately at a high speed. SOLUTION: The method for producing the minute mold includes a process (A) for applying a resin on a metal sheet containing titanium or chromium, a process (B) for drilling the resin by a laser, a process (C) for forming a metal layer for the mold by nickel plating or nickel-phosphorus plating, a process (D) for peeling the metal layer for the mold formed by plating from the metal sheet, and a process (E) for reinforcing the back of the metal layer for the mold.
