PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity detector having a simple design that can be readily manufactured. SOLUTION: The humidity detector has a housing 14, that is suitable for retaining a front glass 20 of a vehicle or a humidity sensor 2 in other types of windows. A flexible printed circuit substrate 1 is arranged between the humidity sensor 2 and the front glass, which connects between the humidity sensor 2 and an additional circuit of the detector. The humidity sensor 2 is arranged in the lower side of a cap 8 that is engaged by a glider member 11. A spring 18 presses the glider member 11 against the front glass 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
