<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP packet tracing device specifying the transmission route of each IP packet in an IP network. <P>SOLUTION: The IP packet tracing device comprises: an addition means provided in each node constituting the IP network, for adding a node ID for specifying the present node in the network, to a node information storage area provided in the IP header of the IP packet to be transmitted to the next node; a history storage means provided in each node constituting the IP network, for extracting route information indicated by the sequence of the node IDs held in the node information storage area and holding the extracted route information corresponding to information specifying the IP packet when sending out the IP packet to the terminal equipment of a destination specified by the IP header; and a route specifying means for retrieving the route information corresponding to the IP packet specified as the object of route specification from history information stored in the history storage means of each node and specifying the transmission route of the IP packet on the basis of the sequence of the node IDs indicated by the obtained route information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
