<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading member in which the generation of stray light is little, and to provide a line head using the shading member, in which the generation of ghost is suppressed, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the line head, in which the deterioration in picture quality is little. <P>SOLUTION: This shading member is equipped with a head board, a lens array, and the shading member. In this case, for the head board, a plurality of light emitting element groups for which a plurality of light emitting elements are divided into groups are arranged. For the lens array, a lens which faces the light emitting element group in a first direction is installed for each light emitting element group. The shading member is arranged between the head board and the lens array. The shading member has a plurality of shading plates which are arranged across a void layer in the first direction. On the shading plate, a light guiding hole which penetrates in the first direction is installed while facing the light emitting element group in the first direction. The light from the light emitting element group can enter the lens by passing through each light guiding hole which is installed in a manner to face the applicable light emitting element group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
