PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of continuing the operation even when the electric power supplied from a communication line is lowered.SOLUTION: The communication apparatus operates on the electric power which is supplied from a communication line. The communication apparatus includes a controller that, when the electric power supplied from the communication line is detected to have got lowered to a predetermined range, controls the communication apparatus to start at least one of a reduction operation including partial discontinuation of the functions of the communication apparatus and performance reduction of the functions of the communication apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
