PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite container and a manufacturing method thereof, a preform and a composite preform, capable of imparting various functions or features to a container and allowing various designs.SOLUTION: First, a preform 10a made of a plastic material is prepared, and a plastic member 40a is disposed so as to surround outside the preform 10a. Thereby a composite preform 70 having the preform 10a and the plastic member 40a in close contact with outside the preform 10a is produced. The composite preform 70 is then heated and inserted inside a blow molding mold 50, blow molding is applied to the composite preform 70 inside the blow molding mold 50, and thereby the preform 10a and the plastic member 40a of the composite preform 70 are integrally expanded so that a composite container 10A is obtained.
