<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an oxygen saturation image in which only oxygen saturation degrees are reflected on a normal optical image, without depending on a blood amount. <P>SOLUTION: First illumination light of a wavelength range, in which light absorption coefficient of blood hemoglobin varies with oxygen saturation thereof varied, is projected into a test subject body, to capture a first image signal (a frame 1) by imaging the reflection light, etc. Second illumination light of a wide wavelength range is projected into a body cavity, to capture a second image signal (a frame 2) by imaging the reflection light, etc. Oxygen saturation degrees are acquired based on the first image signal and the second image signal. A normal optical image is produced based on the second image signal. Information concerning the oxygen saturation degrees is reflected on the normal optical image, thereby to acquire an oxygen saturation image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
