PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater capable of reducing heat capacity of an insulator and equalizing temperature distribution by reducing exposed area of the insulator to a heating space to improve response of temperature rise and drop, and to provide a method of manufacturing the electric heater, and a heating apparatus.SOLUTION: An electric heater comprises: a plate-like heating element 10 in which a current path is formed by forming a slit; and insulators 20 for supporting the heating element 10. The heating element 10 is supported by the insulators 20 at a pair of width direction end parts 13 and 13 located in a width direction X along the slit of the heating element 10. Each insulator 20 located at each of the width direction end parts 13 and 13 is divided into at least two parts to a horizontal direction along the width direction X. The width direction end parts 13 are respectively locked between divided elements 21 and 22, and fastening tools 30 for fastening the divided elements 21 and 22 at parts above the width direction end parts 13 are provided respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
