<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display including a color filter layer and a backlight module. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display includes the backlight module, a liquid crystal layer, and the color filter layer. An ultraviolet unit for emitting ultraviolet rays is arranged on the backlight module. The color filter layer includes a plurality of pixels, and a wavelength conversion material formed on at least one of the plurality of pixels.
