PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold for thickening work which can easily prevent a deterioration in product quality or damage of a metal mold over a long period and easily extend metal mold lifetime.SOLUTION: A metal mold for thickening work 20, arranged in a holder unit 10 to support a workpiece W on the end part side by fitting upon thickening work for forming a thickening part Wf in a workpiece W between a pair of holder units 10 by supporting the workpiece W on both end sides with the holder units 10, and by repeatedly applying energy in a direction of crossing the axis line L while applying pressure in the direction of the axis line L, comprises a first part metal mold 21 having a first fitting part 27a with which the end part side of the workpiece W is fitted, a second part metal mold 22 arranged on the thickening part Wf side of the first part metal mold 21 by having a second fitting part 27b with which the workpiece W is fitted by penetration, and a coaxial fixing part 23 that brings the first fitting part 27a in coaxial contact with the second fitting part 27b to fix the first part metal mold 21 and the second part metal mold 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
