PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal device capable of suppressing the unstable vibration of a rotational body and improving sealing performance by suppressing a flow between a stationary body and the rotational body.SOLUTION: A seal device comprises: a second longitudinal wall portion 22 extending from a stationary body 11 to a rotational body 12 and formed into a ring shape having a thickness in an axial center direction A of the rotational body 12; a protrusion portion 23 formed into a ring shape protruding from the rotational body 12 to the stationary body 11 to be opposed to the second longitudinal wall portion 22; and a plurality of swirl breaker chambers 24 disposed on the stationary body 11 at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction of the rotational body 12 to be opposed to the protrusion portion 23, a thickness of the protrusion portion 23 being set equal to or smaller than a thickness of a tip end portion of the second longitudinal wall portion 22. |
