PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device that enables a process work time of processing work pieces to be shortened.SOLUTION: A light irradiation device comprises: an irradiator installation trestle 82 on which a light irradiator 2 emitting polarization light is installed; two work stages 83 that are provided on both sides of the irradiator installation trestle 82; a rectilinear movement mechanism 84 that transfers each work stage 83 so as to pass right below the light irradiator 2; an arm 92A that is disposed parallel to a stage conveyance trestle 81 and has a workpiece loaded on each work stage 83 and is movable in a rectilinear movement direction; and a robotic device 90 that has a holding part 92B holding the workpiece. Between the first work stage 83 and an illumination area of the light irradiator 2, a space is configured to be secured that is larger than a space allowing the workpiece on the second work stage 83 to pass the illumination area, and between the second work stage 83 and the illumination area, a space is configured to be secured that is larger than a space allowing the workpiece on the first work stage 83 to pass the illumination area. |
